Default Something needs to be done...

Honestly, something needs to be done about the competition arenas in Ascalon City and Yaks bend. I recently made a new monk, and I thought it would be fun to test him out at lvl 8 in the Ascalon Arena. To my utter dissapointment and suprise, 2 players on my team were wearing Droknars forge armor, and 1 of them was a warrior with the 15k setup you see everywhere nowadays. I figured we'd win because of this, but to my suprise yet again, the entire other team was wearing droknars armor. 2 of them were monks with full tatoo armor, 1 was a warrior with platemail, and the other was a necromancer wearing scars and necrotic's. I got over the fact that I was the only person not wearing armor intended for Lvl 20 players, but the match just wasnt fun. First of all, the necromancer had Spiteful Sprit! At level 10, he was using spiteful spirit. The warriors on both teams seemed to be doing equal damage to eachother, but the monk on their team prevented them from being killed. I figured I'd attack the monk using my gnarly lvl 6 smiting prayers and my max dmg cane, but it was like hitting a brick wall with a toothpick. I managed to die in about 25 seconds from getting caught in the SS, and after the match was over, they boasted about having 35 wins in a row. The ascalon arena is meant to be almost like a training ground for later arenas and pvp. It's not meant to have 15k wearing, elite skill using characters ruining the fun for the average player. Isn't this game supposed to be about skill, and not equipment? Well, in about 1 minute i thought of an easy fix for this, but I doubt in 100 years it'll ever come into effect....
As soon as a player enters the arena, their armor lvl is set to a base number, depending on their Level and character type. This would greatly reduce people destroying average players in the arenas just because they paid 20k to get ran to the fire island chain and capture their stupid elite skills. Go ahead and flame this, call me a whiner and tell me I should stay out of the arenas, because I could care less. I will stay out of the arenas until I'm lvl 20 or I decide to play PvP, just so I dont have to face anymore of those kinds of people.

I love the fact that people will do anything it takes to make themselves feel higher and mightier than another, even if it means ruining multiple players' time.

This has already been done to death. Arenanet has mentioned they're working on it. If you want to, find one of the threads about this in Sardelac (that's where suggestions go) and bump it up. Closed.
